Araucaria araucana, also known as Chilean silver fir or Andean fir, is an impressive and rare plant that stands out with its characteristic, unusual shape. This evergreen conifer species, originally from the Andes in Chile, is characterized by its scale-like, thorny leaves, which give the plant a strikingly bulky and magnificent appearance. Our small seedling in a 15 cm pot has already reached a height of approx. 15 cm and is about 3 years old, ideal for planting slowly in your garden. This long-lived plant grows slowly and develops over time into a majestic tree that makes an impressive highlight both indoors and in gardens.
