The crocodile fern owes its name to its extraordinary leaf structure, which is confusingly similar to the skin of the dangerous reptile. The almost embossed leaf structure transforms this fern into a crocodile for the living room.
The unusual houseplant has slightly wavy leaves and the matt leaf surface also sets this botanical highlight in the limelight.

The plant prefers a light to partially shaded location, it does not tolerate direct sun as well as very dark indoor spaces. Temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius and warmer are optimal,The thermometer should not fall below 16 degrees Celsius, not even in winter.
The fern also prefers - as in the natural habitat - a high level of humidity.
