Robust, hardy ground cover with delicate flowers - Alchemilla mollis
Alchemilla mollis, also known as soft lady's mantle, is a charming, low-maintenance perennial that impresses with its large, wavy leaves and ability to retain morning dew on its leaf surfaces. Its delicate, yellow-green flowers appear from June to August and attract numerous bees and butterflies, making it not only visually but also ecologically valuable.
This robust plant is hardy and grows reliably in sunny to semi-shady areas. It prefers humus-rich, well-drained soil, but also copes well with less optimal conditions. Due to its dense growth, Alchemilla mollis is ideal as a ground cover, for beds, woodland edges or shady locations.
